First paid step

A short fit call comes first. Then pick the starting point that fits what feels most stuck. Each one gives you something concrete to act on right away, so you can see how I work before you commit to more.

Free 20-minute fit call

A short call to see if we’re a good fit and which starting point makes sense for you. It’s for questions and scheduling, not strategy. If we’re a fit, your first paid step is usually the Strategy Session. If your main need is the house, start with the Home Walkthrough, or the Home Tune-Up for a lighter first step. If it’s your wardrobe, start with the Closet Edit.

Investment: Free.

your first paid stepThe Strategy Session

The Strategy Session

For:

People who need a plan more than a house visit. You’re thinking about leaving a marriage, you’re in the middle of a separation, your family keeps having the same fights — parents and teens, siblings, or decisions about an aging parent — or you’re ready to rebuild and don’t know where to begin.

What changes:

You leave knowing your next three moves and the order in which to make them.

What’s included:
  • A short questionnaire before we meet.
  • A 90-minute session.
  • A written next-steps plan within two business days: priorities, sequence, who you need on your team, and what to say in the conversations ahead.
recommended starting point for home workThe Home Walkthrough

The Home Walkthrough

For:

Anyone who feels stuck in their own home. After a divorce, breakup, or loss. Before a move, before downsizing, or before combining two households. Sorting through a parent’s home. Or just tired of living with things that no longer fit or inspire you — worn cushions, fraying throws, colors that feel dated, a home that just looks tired.

What changes:

In one visit you go from “I don’t know where to start” to knowing your next steps. Most clients feel lighter the same day, and your written plan, with your next steps in the order I’d tackle them, follows within three business days.

What’s included:
  • I walk every room, closet, and the garage with you, about 3 hours.
  • I tell you what to keep, donate, recycle, or throw away.
  • For the things that are hard to part with, I’ll show you my method: photograph it, keep the memory, and let the object go.
  • For anything worth selling, I give you informal guidance on its value and the best way to sell it — consignment, auction house, dealer, or online marketplace.
  • I tell you what to buy to update the home, with a budget range for each item.
  • Within three business days you get a written plan, room by room, in the order I’d tackle it.

Values I give in the walkthrough are informal guidance, not certified appraisals. If you need a formal appraisal for an estate, insurance, or legal purpose, I’ll refer you to a currently certified appraiser.

What clients say

You have so much experience and knowledge with all facets of home furnishings, design and decor. I love that you can shop for me, guide me on what to eliminate or sell, and even tell me where and how to get rid of what is not working for me!
C.B.
I so appreciate your wisdom, guidance, and knowledge of personal property, furniture values, recycling, reselling, and basically what to do with my ‘stuff’!

I’m not a licensed interior designer. For larger or higher-end design projects, I’ll refer you to an interior designer or architect, the same way I work alongside attorneys and therapists.

The Home Tune-Up

a lighter start for home workFor:

You don’t need a whole-house overhaul. You want a fresh eye on the rooms you live in most, and a short list of what would make them work better, look fresher, and lift your spirits.

What changes:

Your home feels fresh and inviting again, without a big project or a big budget.

What’s included:
  • About 2 hours in your home with me.
  • We sort out what to keep, what to let go, what your taste really is, and where you want to go.
  • Simple, reasonably priced updates that give the most for the money: bedding, pillows and throws, artwork, or the right piece of furniture.
  • A short written punch list of what to do and what to buy, with a budget range for each item.
  • If you’d like, I’ll shop for the pieces for you.

The Closet Edit

a lighter start for wardrobe workFor:

You open the closet and nothing feels right. You want a clear edit and a plan, without a full wardrobe package.

What changes:

You know what works, what goes, and exactly what to shop for next.

What’s included:
  • 3 hours in your closet with me.
  • What to keep, tailor, donate, or sell.
  • A clear style direction for the person you are now.
  • A “what’s missing” list, so you shop with a plan.

What clients say

Thank you for bringing me a new fresh sense of style! … you gave me practical input on how I can look my best!

If you’re stuck in a life — or a home — that no longer fits, you don’t need more advice. You need your next three moves, in the right order.

Start with a free 20-minute fit call. It’s short, practical, and only about whether we’re a good fit and where to begin. If we are, your first paid step is usually the Strategy Session: 90 minutes, a written plan within two business days, and something concrete to act on right away.

I’m warm, clear, and composed under pressure. I’ll tell you the truth, kindly, and then help you act on it — alongside your attorney or therapist when you have one, never instead of them.
